1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Both? I tend not to be a major hot chocolate fan, but I like it in the evenings when I need something warm but don't want caffeine. And I love egg nog as creamer in my coffee. In fact, the cup right by my elbow is coffee with Safeway's "Lite" egg nog. Yum!

I'm working Thanksgiving (actually, the whole holiday weekend) and I've been feeling a little sorry for myself.  I do have Christmas off, and my mom is coming out.  It should be fun!  But thanksgiving is a holiday that should be about family and friends, and I'm going to be spending it at work.

Happy Winter Solstice! Today is the shortest day of the year. I was up for sunrise; not too hard when sunrise is at 8am. Sunset is just after 4. But at least the sun is actually visible today! And I'm off and get to enjoy it! Today can't help but be better than yesterday after all.
